Groupe Saloum and A Saint in the City

"A Saint in the City: Sufi Arts of Urban Senegal" is an exhibit currently featured at the Krannert Art Museum in Champaign, through December 31, 2006. The Francophiliacs took the opportunity to go to the opening night reception, which features Group Saloum, a Boston group playing under the guidance of Lamine Toure, a sabar drummer from Senegal.
