Hot temps and chilled beats

Inspired by the high temperatures, the Francophiliac that stayed in town to spin the records played a special section on music from Mali, the West African nation at the avant-garde of African music. But there was also plenty of Canadian, Caribbean, and North African music, plus some good old chanson française, and finished off with some “perfectly chilled” beats from Café d’Afrique for a relaxed Memorial Day afternoon.
